comment Setting serial number on USB-Serial device
Unfortunately @Phil Vallone the issue is that there is no unique serial to identify the device via udev. In order to detect and identify a unique device, you need something unique to differentiate them. These devices have the same iSerial, so you can't diff them on that, and they share the same Product and Vendor IDs - so there isn't a differentiator ... Thanks for your help, unfortunately it doesn't fix this issue!

Unfortunately, this isn't really an answer to either: the question (as it doesn't answer whether there is a way to assign a new serial number as one can do for FTDI chips), or resolve the issue (as the udev serial for all these boards, like the Leonardo, is 0, therefore udev can't distinguish between multiple boards attached to the same computer.

comment How to access request object in model admin changelist_view
def click_to_call(self, obj): does not pass request. You need to provide the request as a parameter: def click_to_call(self, request, obj):

This has been previously discussed here. You essentially need to pass request into the view.

comment Redirect to another view with dictionary data in django
Post your urls.py. The issue is the call to redirect('add_user_to_rfqentry', data) which is doing a reverse match on 'add_user_to_rfqentry' to find a named URL, and then looking for said named URL with given keyword arguments. I suggest looking at the docs for redirect()

I'm slightly confused as to exactly what you're trying to achieve. Why are you resolving view-type issues in the model? I'd just handle the display of information to the user in a view, and then you have access to request etc. in there.
