comment How to show ellipsis for long cell values in kendo ui grid?
@OnaBai Refering to your jsfiddle example: is there a way to achieve the same dynamically, ie. for each column or simply when a grid is built dynamically and you don't always know the column name?

comment Extending kendoGrid with additional constructor parameter
Yes, this works like a charm! I don't even have to rephrase the constructor to kendoMyGrid - the default kendoGrid still works.

comment Extending kendoGrid with additional constructor parameter
Thanks moomoo! At this very moment I'm unable to test the code, but I appreciate your answer. Looking at it, my concern would be - is the change event of dataSource intercepted and stopped or does it propagate so the user can still assign it their own handlers in the constructor?

comment AngularJS: how do I code an element directive with optional attribute parameters?
scope.linked = typeof attrs.linked != 'undefined'; works better for a flag property

comment AngularJS: how do I code an element directive with optional attribute parameters?
Nope :) That's what I've been through. You want a single negation of attrs.linked only. The mere presence of the attribute/property means its value is undefined which, when double-negated, leads to false. But thanks anyway!
