Delphi is hobby, but quite a serious one I might add. I sincerely like being helpful, and answering questions and come up with solutions are also a kind of nice training for me.

Some of my special interests are: graphics / drawing, component building, and VCL knowledge.

In the current form, your question is a so-called XY-question: I have problem X and I have trouble with solution Y. No it's not possible to declare a routine starting with $, and you already aswered it yourself. The real question here is how to call a Delphi routine from Lua. Please edit the question into what you really want to know.
