Note, if the IIS_IUSRS user is missing in the list, you are probably viewing domain users - change the locations to the local computer. the user IUSRS in the domain is not the one you need

comment How to iterate a table rows with JQuery and access some cell values?
In order to not iterate all tables in page, better to replace $("tr.item").each(...) with $('#myTableId > tbody > tr.item').each(...)

One idea is to get the Mac address of any wifi router it connects to. Google and other companies have huge location DBs of these correlated with gps data gathered by phones. See my answer to actually make your browser do this work.

comment How to make Nginx redirect without adding a tail string to redirected server
One more problem that arose after using rewrite... Any root resource that is accessed from the destination site (e.g., /scripts/foo.js) ruins the whole proxy scheme here because it will try to access nginx.main.com/scripts.foo.js which obviously does not exist. So the only solution left is to use vhosts with their own DNS (e.g., math.main.com and cs.main.com) :P

This didn't work, it still passes the /cs or /math to the destination web server. I found that using "rewrite ^/math(.*)$ $1 break;" will do the trick though !

It isn't really the answer because you asked 'how it was designed', so I answered that. But anyway NodeJS is also a server side codign technology and will do you fine. good luck !

You can learn JQuery which is a library of code that makes life easier for programming in Javascript. In any case, you will need to learn some form of server side coding if you want to learn how to do things with information that comes from a page. Possible server side coding include: .NET webforms / Java servlets / PHP

Just to clarify, regarding the 'window' that pops up, it is just a div that is displayed on the rest of the html in a specific position. there are no real windows on a single html page. There are js libraries that make it easy to use such 'windows' instead of writing them from scratch

comment IIS - this configuration section cannot be used at this path (configuration locking?)
Just to clarify, the "Web Server (IIS) Support" feature checkbox is not under the 'Application Server' node in the pic above. It will show after you perform several 'next' and pass the Server Roles and Features on the left nav bar and get to 'Role Services' (doesn't appear in the pic above but will appear for you after several 'next'). This drove me crazy :P
