I have a lot of experience (20 years) building applications and I like clean, simple, readable code that's built around actual use cases. Minimizing the complexity a developer has to keep in mind at any one time is critical.
I don't claim my code is the best in the world and I don't believe people who do. I like to learn from others who have more experience and fresh ideas from different mindsets. I like working with smart, fearless people on interesting projects. Decision-making is key and delaying decision making till the last moment allowed provides the greatest advantage architecturally and in life.
I'm currently actively practicing Live Edit and TDD, using Silex, Symfony2, and jQuery amongst other things, am a Zend Certified PHP 5 Engineer, and am learning Go.
