Most of my experience programming has been small php/mysql projects for small companies, although I'm considering moving to Java. My education was focused between electronics, computer systems and programming. My real programming experience started in VHDL, and besides web work, I've maintained an interest in PIC microcontroller processing in C, and a new interest in Android, given the exciting convergence possibilities it brings. Being an idealist, I'm a proponent of TDD, design patterns, strict typing and refactoring for the sake of it.. don't tell my boss!
