It all started with Fortran77 back when I was a physicist. There was also some Perl, a lot of bash and csh scripting. I have been programming mainly in C++ for the last thirteen years or so, although there has been a significant amount of python too. After many years in the scientific big data analysis business, I am currently programming control software for medical diagnostics machinery running embedded Linux. I am particularly interested in C++11, and actively seeking projects where I can use that technology.
I have one of those c++ gold badges, whatever they are worth these days.
Against my better judgement, I started a blog.
