comment Using nWoD dice system in V20
Not all oWoD titles used the variable target numbers; several used a required number of successes instead.

There are a number of versions of the Vampire that are simply animals that look human. Such as those in Niven's Ringworld. Or the warp demons of the early editions of 40K. They don't learn, they just hunt.

comment How would the Voyagers be tracked after the RTGS runs out of fuel?
One other thought - 400°C is the same range as some of the detected brown dwarves... color T8 brown dwarfs. 1000°C is T2... but thousands of times closer (and thus millions of times higher magnitude per unit luminosity.) If we can spot a brown dwarf at 100 LY, we should be able to spot a 3 billion times smaller cross section object the same temp at 1/63,000 the distance...

@ZoeyHolman The Soul, in prior editions was tied more strongly to character level - life drains literally robbed character levels. In 5E, such life drains & soul drains are now damage to max HP, instead, so it's not the same as prior editions. Be wary of proffered "Prior Edition Knowledge" in looking at 5E, as it is often less than helpful for 5E. (As in, more often wrong than right once the dev team gets asked.)

@SevenSidedDie there's a difference between cannot perceive and cannot learn. A robot can be programmed to perform complex actions but not actually learn. There are documented cases of people who have no mid-term memory - they cannot remember you after about 5 minutes, cannot learn anything new, but they can access (but not form new) long-term memories, and can function enough to feed themselves. There are fewer, but still documented, cases of no long term memory formation, but still having mid term (5m to 5 hour range) memory working. Again, they don't learn, but do function.

Removing the damage to the quotes - I took the quotes directly from the text by cut-n-paste, do NOT edit them, as doing so makes them paraphrases.

The PBR quotes are from a document that is available at no charge, and are the bulk. Aside from the end notes, this is pretty consistent with academic fair use levels of quotation. Plus, there's not enough text to actually use the spells the text is quoted from.

comment Is there a system with hit locations where missing hits another location?
Look at Chamelion Ecclectic's The Babylon Project - it does purely dice based, as the hex-grid is printed with the character sheet. No separate hit template.

comment Why was Jabba immune to Luke's powers of the Force in Return of the Jedi?
Well, theoretically, one can use move object to beat a Hutt... but no matter how good, in all three RPG's, you can't use the force to influence the Hutt's mind. Hutts and Toydarians both have this ability in the FFG system.
