comment JMeter stops sending JSESSIONID cookie when switched to SSL
@Dexter I added an edit to the question to explain. It was a long time ago, so I've forgotten some of the specifics.

comment Is Executors.newSingleThreadExecutor() the appropriate choice for running a task that I need to timeout?
We do actually want to "crash" the thread. Will Future.get kill the thread after the supplied timeout has passed, or does it just return null and the thread is still running? There appear to be other methods in the neighborhood of ExecutorService that will help me implement hard timeouts... is one of those a better choice?

comment C#-friendly alternatives to WMI for iterating remote processes by Owner?
This approach won't work for Process.GetProcesses(remoteHost) though, will it? OpenProcessToken is expecting a local process handle, isn't it?

comment What does IISReset do in addition to recycling all Application Pools?
Are the restarts done asynchronously? An iisreset.exe returns faster than a net stop and net start on W3SVC does.
