make subelements listen to an extJS event Thank you very much for this detailed answer. The activate event is a better way to solve this problem. Now I've created a new tab class that just checks if the id has changed by accessing my extJs window object and then call a function that every extending class needs to implement. |

make subelements listen to an extJS event I don't need the id before the tab is renderred. My problem was, that I wanted to get informed every time the id changes and of course when the window is opened the first time too. But as mentioned by Nick, the activate event is a better way to just look each time if the id has changed. |
