Started working with VB4 and SQL Server 6.5 in 1998. Moved into web development with VS InterDev, worked with the various versions of ASP and VB until .NET came out, at which point I switched to C#. Worked as a web developer using C#, ASP.NET, Javascript, and SQL Server until 2011. I'm currently working as a developer/software tester for an online brokerage. Fairly fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.

Currently trying to keep my head above water with all of the changes in the .NET framework and the Javascript explosion. Current interests: Server side Javascript (node.js) JS Frameworks: ExtJS, jQuery Aysnchronous programming with .NET Powershell Git

Things I plan to get back to when I have more time: The Art of Computer Programming Functional programming (aside from Javascript... Haskell, Lisp, F#) Python Linux

Some great books that I recommend (software and otherwise): Code Complete Secrets of the Javascript Ninja Where Keynes Went Wrong The Black Swan (Taleb) The Art of Unit Testing The Art of Computer Programming
