2011 EPIC FAIL and worst career decision I've ever made was accepting my present job. I'm usually quite the cynic, but had a lapse of over-optimism. Or perhaps temporary insanity. I should have known better.
Hopefully I'll find something in 2012 and get back to real development work. Until then, Stack Overflow will be one of the primary places I go to for a coding "fix" to help keep me from completely losing my mind. :)
EDIT - AUG 2012: After being lost in a developer back hole (among other things I can't go into without using offensive language) for 15 long months, found a new job. Got beat-down, lost a lot of my motivation, and took a huge step backwards, so I need to seriously get my butt back into reading and writing code.
EDIT - AUG 2012: On my way to the new job, I found a company run even worse than the job I just left: Lufthansa:
