I'm a freelancer working in the build/release/devops field on a number of large website applications and or in major enterprises. Usually its C# projects using Teamcity and MSBuild/Powershell and getting to Continuous deployment. Or just about anything else to get there. However you can be sure that Id much rather be Cycling, Skiing or Surfing and/or playing with all or any of my kids.

comment Run msbuild post-build task for few projects or solution, and run it once per build
This will still be executed 4 times. See Incremental builds an example is here digitallycreated.net/Blog/67/…

comment MsBuild calling Powershell. Passing array parameter?
Wouldn't it just be a whole load easier to migrate to using Powershell and only call out to msbuild when you really really have ta?

comment pushing nugetGallery to windows azure website getting error: The OutputPath property is not set for project 'NuGetGallery.csproj'
So you're trying to build with the wrong value for Platform, like i said before, its the space or lack of in AnyCPU.

comment pushing nugetGallery to windows azure website getting error: The OutputPath property is not set for project 'NuGetGallery.csproj'
Does the csproj contain a value for OutputPath for the configuration Release and Platform 'Any CPU'? I've had issues in the past where a mismatch on Platform occurs. "AnyCpu" != "Any CPU"

comment Microsoft.WebApplication.targets
All that's needed is the nuget package in your project, this also associates the reference with the code. You shouldn't install more than is required on a build machine.
