Sanitize query string in PHP +1 to what John Cartwright said. Steve, your suggestion works for preventing SQL injection. But in this case, we want to filter output -- what's added to our HTML -- to prevent XSS attacks. |

What does the scaleZ() CSS transform function do? Actually, my answer only sort of answers the question. The answer is that scaleZ() shifts an object's Z coordinates by the factor specified. This answer explains why it only sort of works some of the time.. |

How do I normalize CSS3 Transition functions across browsers? I removed the MsTransition bit, but will leave the rest of the answer in tact. The current versions of all major non-WebKit browsers do not require a vendor prefix. transition and transitionend are enough. See: caniuse.com/#search=transitions

How do I normalize CSS3 Transition functions across browsers? Removing the ms prefixed transition event, since Internet Explorer doesn't use it. |

How to avoid Opera required field tooltip bug when using @font-face? This is overkill for what is a client-side problem. |

wrong height of display: table in opera - box model issue? Opera's bug tracking system is limited to employees, unfortunately. Linking to it wouldn't do any good. When the desktop team and core team announce new releases, however, they usually include the bug numbers. (We're working to make our bug tracking system more transparent, but it will take some time.) |
