Can not paste into terminal @wbharding you might want to consider putting "switch to Sun Java" in your answer. I for one didn't bother reading the link but got the solution from Dziamid's comment. Might get you more upvotes. |

Can not paste into terminal @Dziamid thanks for the alternative to the horrible workarounds mentioned elsewhere in these answers. |

Increasing scroll speed Thanks! I found that option myself but didn't try that high a number, just something like 10. But together with smooth scrolling it seems that much higher numbers are in order to reach barely sufficient scroll speeds. Currently got mine set to 100. |

Please resolve the syntax error in the mysql insert query So if a column consists of date data you would rather not name it date? If the column actually holds 'case' data (whatever that may be) I'd strongly advise to name it that way, rather than renaming a column to something else just because the original (and fitting) name is a reserved word. To enable us to use reserved words in names, that's what the backticks are for ...

How to reinstall GRUB2 EFI? Dude! Thanks so very much! This just saved me after my Lenovo X220 didn't want to boot anymore after a reset, which activated the latest package updates and at the same time saw me doing a BIOS reset because that supposedly fixes connection problems with the 3G card. After that booting became impossible, for whatever reason. Until I used your guide. BTW, the part were you copy resolv.conf didn't work for me, because it is a symlink into /run/resolvconf... (in Ubuntu 12.04), instead I just used mount --bind /run /mnt/run to mount the whole /run directory in the chroot environment.

Was bedeutet "für die Füße sein"? Da klingt ja der schweizer Begriff erheblich ähnlicher, siehe allotrias Antwort. |
