comment Why did my router randomly assign wireless devices to br0 interface?
No. I weren't doing anything special. They switch interfaces silently and apparently randomly...

comment git branch --merged using plumbing commands
Because I want to do the equivalent of git branch --merged in scripts but don't want to deal with the porcelain output (e.g., "* master", "origin/HEAD->origin/master", etc)

comment Random freezes on MBP9,2 + Ubuntu 12.04
Thanks for the comment. The model I have has Intel integrated graphics, so there's no proprietary video driver to install. I did have wireless card driver installed and configured. I'm also using refit. I'd go on Ubuntu 12.10 but they discontinued unity 2d, which I rely on to run xmonad. (I know I don't have to, but I don't like using the bare x11)

That's a nice tip. Thanks.

If it's already on the server, rebasing doesn't help here.

comment git merge: is there a way to force --squash?
No it doesn't, but it gives you a chance to write clean message. As I said, on feature/task branches, people can do interim commits as they want, but when they merge, I'd like to have good messages, and normal merge doesn't do that.

comment MySQL LIKE operator with wildcard and backslash
The table that doesn't work has: CHARSET=utf8 COLLATE=utf8_unicode_ci, I don't know if collation could be the problem here. Thanks anyway.
