comment When will ES6 be available in IE?
Check out status.modern.ie also the IE blog, a recent post shows it will take them a really long time, years I'd say since important features that already work in Chrome Canary and Firefox nightlies are still "under consideration" like WeakSet: blogs.msdn.com/b/ie/archive/2014/09/18/…

comment Run a Command Prompt command from Desktop Shortcut
Coming as a non-windows user I have no idea what /1234 means, what /k means or what should go into the other boxes. I placed a command in a shortcut config window, a command that 100% works when I run it inside a cmd terminal, and it did not work in the shortcut window when I replaced your "c:\foo\bar.exe" with my command. Perhaps there's a problem with arguments, or permissions, I don't know, it just didn't work. The result is an empty terminal box with an access error.

comment How do I use the prepend function in jQuery to make my code more efficient?
// document.write(console.log(ppCount)); <-- what were you trying to achieve with that? You don't need to wrap a console.log in a document.write.

comment prevent ajax call if application cache is being updated
Your app should be able to load new application JavaScript with swapCache. Try adding a script tag with an src to JavaScript that alerts "foo", and then change that to alerts "bar". It should alert bar without a refresh, just like it should load new images. You might want to reduce your launch JavaScript to just a little bit that you wont have to refresh.

comment IRC Bot anti swear
Hrm, why not just make a swear.txt and have the bot load that instead of hard coding the swear words. Then just check that with one quick search. Be aware of the Scunthorpe problem though: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scunthorpe_problem

comment How to change rendered template in Meteor?
If this question is about iron:router you should probably tag it as such, to avoid confusion. Do you have more code you can show, it would be less work to answer the question.

comment validating javascript with count
I think you should checkout the JavaScript tutorials on CodeAcademy or read a book or something so you have an easier time. Check out codecademy.com/en/tracks/javascript or look at some Wrox or Oreilly books.

@Barmar it's not a thing in his example. csi is in the JavaScript but not in the markup.
