My name is Robin, I live in belgium, and am 17 years old.
I started programming at... I think it was the age of 12. I started with Visual Basic 6, later moved to VB.NET, then to C#, and I'm now trying to learn Python and PHP. I have also made a websites for a few people.
I grew up with Windows 98, then moved to Windows XP with the greatest regrets, as I've always thought it was a piece of garbage. Tried Windows 7 for a few months until I got totally sick of Wind(bl)ows. Then I learned that there were more operating systems out there than only Windows. However, Mac was way to expencive, and not really worth the money, in my opinion. I knew there was something like Linux, but I didn't actually know what it was. I started googling around a bit, fiddling with a few distro's, and am now a very happy Linux Mint user.
Update: Which has recently fallen in love with Ubuntu's Unity interface and has been a happy Ubuntu user ever since :p
Update: And I got sick of Ubuntu 11.10's extreme slowness and bugginess, switched to Elementary OS, distro-hopped a bit, used Arch Linux for a few weeks, and ended up with the development branch of Ubuntu 12.04.
