Ways to extend Array object in javascript awesome, good luck with it. I just didn't want you running into the common mistake people make of extending a builtin type and clobbering a third party extension and spending hours trying to figure out why a library isn't working (which i have done before :S ) |

Is there a way to make the subscriber database read-only when using Transaction Replication? Thanks Alexis, that should do the trick. |

Reduce load off primary server by using log shipping, or mirroring, or something else? Thanks Simon, I really appreciate your answer too and both answers helped my work out what direction to go. |

Reduce load off primary server by using log shipping, or mirroring, or something else? Thanks Remus, I will give transaction replication a try and see if it can achieve what I am after. I would love to give Always On a go, but we do not have the infrastructure for it at the moment. |
