comment Why do the Borg not focus on assimilating The Doctor's mobile emitter?
The whole idea of a Borg sacrificing itself for others is totally anathema to what the Borg are as an entity. The Borg, as macro-organism, would be absorbing the ability to make that choice. The choice to sacrifice itself for the well-being of others. That is, it would mean the end of assimilating people.

He wasn't wrong. If he had not sacrificed himself he wouldn't have shown them that he was willing to do that. It is that sacrifice that I am talking about. That is what changed.

They didn't know that One was so different until the climax of the episode. It was One's actions that showed the Borg what he had become. When first contacted, One wasn't yet changed. So they were in error at first, and only in the end were they able to understand that.

comment Looking for a book featuring a soldier/marine travelling to a different time/universe
Do you remember anything about the structure of the book? Was it a thick book or thin, what was the cover of the book like, did it feature any colors you remember. Can you remember any fragments of text from the book that stuck out to you?

comment PHP Write HTML Table Row to Webpage
@Nordenheim Kurt is trying to send data early with flush() so that the table will show up bit by bit rather than all in one chunk after the processing is complete. This is desirable if you have an extremely long table as it gives the user some of the data without having to wait for all of it to render.

comment Pass an array from PHP to JS
add console.log('jsonAr'); after the variable definition to see what JS has for that variable. This will help you diagnose your own problem more easily.

comment What would have happened if Goku and Gohan used the fusion earring?
As it sits this is not a very good question. Better questions might center on comparing this fusion to the Vegito fusion, or comparing it to some other metric. But the truth really is that the power increasing effects of Fusion aren't a consistent effect. This becomes a very hypothetical question that will have strongly opinion-based answers. That's not a good fit for this site.

comment java function to save textarea content retrieved from a file
I strongly advise you use a white-list of files and pick from that list rather than allowing the user to input any input the way you are right now. While prefixing the file with a specific folder is a deterrent, it probably isn't perfect. I also strongly advise you change`<?php echo $todisplay; ?>` to <?php echo htmlentities($todisplay); ?> to protect against XSS attacks. Consider if someone changed the file to be this text </textarea><script> window.location = 'www.badsite.com' </script><textarea>

comment java function to save textarea content retrieved from a file
You probably want file_get_contents() and file_put_contents() for this. The first would replace your current include_once. The include_once() will run any PHP code inside the file, which means you'd be letting people control PHP code on your server which is a really really bad security problem. You also want to look into XSS attacks and you'd want to use something like htmlentities() around the file_get_contents() part to protect against that. And if $theFile happens to be user-entered data, you are opening yet another security hole.

Consider talking some about how targeted exercise does effect muscle tone and shape which is often confused with targeted fat loss.
