comment Font license search
Is strings yourfont.ttf | grep opyr coming up with useful things? (Not all font file formats will have metadata fields for copyright, though.)

comment sort and uniq columns individually in a text file
How big is your file, in terms of columns and rows? (I.e. would transposing rows and columns first and working on that be feasible?)

comment Best practices for Plone/Zope https setup (behind apache)
@Tobias: yes. Still gets unwieldy with literally hundreds of vhosts. Anyway, the core of our redirection is RewriteCond %{HTTPS} off RewriteRule ^/?(.*/?login(_form)?.*) https://%{HTTP_HOST}/$1 [R,L,NE] in the unencrypted vhost, and don't forget port and protocol are hardcoded in the ProxyPass stanza as well, unless you're using ProxyPassInterpolate. I tried that, but since we need two VirtualHost declarations anyway, why bother.

I'll dig up our magic apache config in the morning. The main annoyance is that you'll need to duplicate your ProxyPass config and whatever custom redirects etc. you have into the two VirtualHosts since Apache is not very helpful for the "80+443" case.

comment Remember when you promised not to imply that I support your political message?
How, if at all, is this different from "I do not want to be associated with an ad on this page" or "I do not want to be associated with a question in the hot network sidebar"?

comment How can I configure my server to avoid information leakage from the SERVER header of its HTTP response
I can't speak to Debian, but on CentOS 7, going from the default (no setting) to ServerTokens Prod changes the header from Server: Apache/2.4.6 (CentOS) to Server: Apache, as expected. Sometimes people (me included) think something doesn't work because they can't get it to work.

comment SSL certificate shows different domain
Can you narrow down which IE versions? If the browser doesn't do Server Name Indication, the server doesn't know which certificate to present until it already has established an encrypted connection, possibly with the wrong cert.

comment Is it possible to change file permissions when copying
My gut instinct would be that it should already happen on copy (because the copy is created in that directory), unless whatever file manager you use (which one is it?) explicitly overrides the attributes afterwards.

comment Python - rolling a dice fairly and counting how many 4's I get
Your logic is wrong, you're rolling a dice six times and return "1" if the first roll is a 1, "2" if the first one wasn't one and the second one is 2, etc. (Every new call to randrange gives you a new random number.)

comment How to overload apache or nginx2
I'm not sure if I understand your setup correctly, but you'll have a hard time hammering a server if you just use nc in a loop. ab, the apache benchmark tool, should be well-suited for a first estimate of stress testing, in particular with high -c values.

comment Avoid Latex float table being placed at the end of the document?
Why are you not allowing p? If you are not allowing a float that is big enough to need its own page to get its own page, it (and all following tables) will get pushed towards the end of the document.

Could be a problem with outdated long-lived assets. Have you tried <s>turning it off and on again</s> clearing your browser cache?

comment Redirecting Site Root URL to its Language Root Folder
What are your options under "Display"? LinguaPlone used to have an option "Root language switcher" that was responsible for doing that.

comment In Plone, if the hard disk is full, wish to add another hard disk. How to give upload path?
First check if your Linux is using LVM – LVM is an abstraction layer that roughly speaking lets you add space to existing partitions by adding new physical drives.
