Harmon Killebrew, the Hall-of-Fame hitter who played for the Minnesota Twins, told a story that makes the point well: "My father used to play with my brother and me in the yard. One time, my mother came out the screen door and said, 'You're tearing up the grass.' My dad lovingly replied, 'Sweetheart, we're not raising grass. We're raising boys.'"

Psalm 127 tells us that "children are a reward from [the Lord].... Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them." We should continually thank God for the privilege of being a father and for the great blessings our children bring to our lives. Sure, they require a lot of our time, energy and money, but they're well worth it.

comment How to limit number of decimal digits in ArcGIS to have exported file in CAD with same format?
How are you exporting? what data type are you exporting from? where are you using it in cad? as a label/annotation? in a table? the other thing to try is to set the field property in arcmap, and then do your export.

comment Search Geodatabase
the arccatalog window has a search function. however enterprise gdbs are not supported network drives also are not supported. you can index any local drive and search by table, attribute or geo area.

comment Active Directory AND integrated user store on ArcGIS Server 10.2
Interested to read beefed up answer from @simon. My understanding is ags only allows one security model. It would require a seperate license to seperate the security as such. However I use geocortex which does allow multiple security models. All services are secured in ags with ad. Sites are configured for identity store and or enterprise security at the site level in geocortex.

This looks like an answer to me, but in case you are looking for something different. Try the r tag in stackoverflow stackoverflow.com/search?q=R+tag

comment ArcGIS Label Manager 10.2 takes 20-30 seconds to load
maybe describe your data layers and label schema. I have a pretty complex document open and label manager took about 2-3 seconds to open. not lightning fast but without a better description of "forever" probably faster than yours is taking.

comment Suggestions on how to create an Owner Index for a Plat Book?
you mention 10 as a version. please add a tag with the ArcGIS 10.0 or other. 10.1 had some benefit, and now 10.2 has an actual legend object that will create the index. It is very process intense though and I normally use it only in a separate mxd for that purpose.

comment Is it possible to use JTS for calculations on data in geographic coordinates?
the answer probably lies with dependencies on the db you are using. Can you edit the question and add the database?
