I've been a developer for over 30 years in one form or another. I learnt Pascal at University and my first job was programming in FORTRAN 66. I've since moved to Silverlight with C# & .NET via Ada, C and C++ and a bit of ASP.NET.

Over the years I've used most operating systems (apart from MacOS/iOS!), starting with PR1MOS and then moving onto various flavours of Unix. I'm now exclusively on Windows, but really should get back into other areas. The only things that are holding me back are lack of time and resources!

comment Is it okay to edit an asker's comment into the question?
@mark - I don't whether you can see my deleted answer on that question but I've been consistent in my preference for flagging each comment. Where I was agreeing with Shog was that you should be clear in your flags. Just saying "comment clean up required" will probably result in all the comments being removed. If only a few need to go, tell us which ones they are.

comment May I see screenshot of Stackoverflow Backend Admin Panel?
@jQuery.PHP.Magento.com - I know what you are talking about. The fact that, even if it does exist, it's not visible to moderators means that you are even less likely to see a screen shot of it.

@jQuery.PHP.Magento.com if such a panel exists (and I'm not sure it does) the fact that it's not available to moderators means you are even less likely to see it.

comment Troubles with handling stacks in C
Please don't edit the fix into the code. Future visitors won't be able to tell what the problem is if the code actually works. You can post your working code as an answer.

@Jongware indeed. That's why I was specific in the type of information you should add.

Please don't cross post. If you want different sites' perspective on the same problem then tailor your question to that site's audience. Which site do you want the question on?

comment Does deletion of questions by community make a question ban "unsolvable" for a user?
@Deduplicator - I thought it was the other way round - of course I could have misunderstood what I read, but I'm fairly sure that it was changed to give people a second chance.
