I have always had a passion for software development and spend my spare time building and tinkering with different technologies. I remember building games in Visual Basic and then Flash when I was in high school. It wasn't until I started freelancing as a Web Developer while at University did I find any interest in the web.
I have a great passion for emerging technologies, especially those relating to the mobile and web development space. Ever since HTML5/CSS3/JSAPIs were first drafted, I have always found time to see what I could get a web browser to do, experimenting with the bleeding edge and taking my findings with me to work.
My current day-to-day is focussed around build a service oriented web application from the ground up. I have had the opportunity to work with a large number of new frameworks and techniques, but it's mostly Node.js with Backbone.js powered thin web client.
