Nandi Hills, Kenya
It's nice to know that I interest you. What led ya here mate? Is it me handle? has a ring to it don't it.
Well whatever it is lad, sit back as I tell you about meselef. I come from Kenya. Bet you I'm the first Kenyan you've seen in SO. Btw, the 'e' is pronounced like the e in keg, so don't say Kinya(looking at you american folks).
I live in my mothers basement and am addicated to binge coding(just trying to beat Norvig's 10 year rule by learning as much as I can). Will I make it? Don't know, only time will tell. Actually I lied, there are no basements in Kenyan houses. I don't think there's a basement equivalent in a third world country like mine.
I'm not a fan of Java(Spolsky and the many other self professed hackers have poisoned me).
I hate Linux(it's blasphemy I know). But it's because I'm too picky. I've tried all Debian based distros and have never found a single one with as good a font rendering as the noob's OS.
I hate clanky things, like Common Lisp(ouch!!) because of the fragment community, and the blasted package manager that is asdf. Incidentally, I love newLISP and no matter how many times every Lisp hacker tries to belittle it for its poor design(somewhat true) I still love it more than Common Lisp because you can get things done with it faster.
Nuff said. G'day mate.
