comment Setting up an anonymous Windows Server 2008 network share?
Make sure you put each sharename on a new line when you're configuring the policy for more than one share. Comma delimiting it doesn't work (even though it is shown like that in the list with all policies)

comment How can I change the default style of WPF controls for a single assembly?
I don't actually define my own window, I use Caliburn.Micro's IWindowManager for that which loads one of several UserControls as it's main content. I'm looking for a way to define the button style once. Your answers helps me avoid having to define the style on each button, but I still need to define it in each of my UserControl's ResourceDictionary. Do you know of a way to apply a style to a whole assembly or namespace?

@Sinatr I've updated my question to highlight why it's different than the one you referenced, thanks for the link though, hadn't seen it before.

comment How can I change the default style of WPF controls for a single assembly?
I found this out by myself, and I actually talked about this type of solution in the question and how it is not appropriate for my problem. Is there a way to scope styles other than using Keys?

comment What's the knockout equivalent of jQuery.active?
I'm not interested in a single observable, I want my selenium test to not do anything while knockout is running. And then when knockout is done, then I want selenium to proceed. During my tests knockout is running after every action, I don't think subscribing to every single one of them is the best/fastest(in terms of development time) course of action.

comment What's the knockout equivalent of jQuery.active?
After letting selenium execute for example a mouseclick, I want to wait for knockout to be done processing that change to the viewmodel before letting selenium check some assertions. Previously I simply used a timeout of say 500ms, with a lot of tests this takes a lot of time, plus that under load 500ms might not be enough. I don't want race conditions in my tests so I use the deterministic way of checking jQuery.active. Now I'm wondering if there's an equivalent of that in knockout.

comment Is this a race condition or bug in sql server using serializable TIL with updlock?
@Marian I was trying to ask if this particular deadlock is caused by either a race condition or some other bug in sql server, or that I'm just going crazy and that this is defined behavior.

I have little knowledge about oracle and it's implementation of transaction isolation levels, but could someone try this out in an oracle db and post the results?
