Delete prank question - Keep salad cool in microwave Yes, as a mod, since our votes are final, I wouldn't vote on that question one way or the other. |

Delete prank question - Keep salad cool in microwave That being said, the question already has 4 close votes. While I wouldn't bring a mod-close hammer down on it, if the community votes to close the question, then the question is closed. |

What should I do if I decide my upvoted answer is wrong? In the specific example I'm thinking of, my answer was basically "Do A" and if I decide to change my answer the change will be "Do Not A". It would be a complete reversal, but people have already agreed to "Do A". I guess a delete would be the right action. But does that change if the answer is accepted? |

Is it possible to oversoak wood chips for smoking? Interesting. My personal experience (at least with chips and planks) doesn't jive with this at all. Here's a video making the same claim, but only addressing wood chunks: youtube.com/watch?v=rv7y1TWyKEw, if you got that much penetration in smaller chips, they would be soaked through completely. Definitely warrants some experimentation at home. |

What temperature range is suitable for grill smoking? Is there a specific food you're looking at? I've added a general answer, but I didn't get in to detail on 15min vs 30min vs 12hr smoke times, which can make quite a difference in how you solve the issue. |

Are recirculation extractor hoods good? This is all true, but in the case where the choice is: recirculating vs nothing at all, from experience, recirculating is better. |

Should I answer my own questions immediately? Relevant Meta question from way back when. meta.cooking.stackexchange.com/questions/321/… Looks like I may have misremembered the answer a bit. |
