Majored in physics at UC Berkeley, chickening out in the upper division when there was no new science, only ever more tedious math. I finished with the "physical sciences" BA degree and became a programmer, but I have remained a life-long student of science. Also, whenever anyone will sit still long enough to listen, I can also be a teacher of science (and was a TA for freshman physics during my 5th year at Cal).
