I am the co-founder and CTO of EnergyScoreCards.com, a startup focused on energy efficiency software for buildings. My language of choice is Groovy and Grails as the web framework, though I have experience with .NET and Java (of course).
I am the founder and one of the organizers of the New York CTO School meetup, a forum for CTOs and technical leaders to share experiences and learn from each other.
Prior to my current gig, I was the Director of Technical Services for Alfresco, the Open Source Enterprise Content Management company. I worked with Alfresco’s enterprise and OEM customers helping them build content-oriented solutions in Social Computing / Enterprise 2.0 space.
My expertise is mostly in Java and Enterprise Web Applications, although I have done a decent amount of .NET and SharePoint 2007 work in a past life.
I am active in the New York City tech community, and enjoy public speaking. Over the past few years, I have given numerous talks to local user groups and national conferences.
