I am a fisheries ecologist living in Washington, DC in the US. For the last couple of years I have spent a lot of time working and living in either the US or in Norway. My work is focused on individual-based models of the physics and biology of marine ecosystems. I use mainly Python and Fortran programming languages for work but my hobby is programming Cocoa and objective-c applications for Mac OSX.
