I have been gainfully employed as a writer since I was 25. I also edit books on the side. It makes me feel good that I can use my aptitude for English to help experts in other fields express themselves coherently. I work with a lot of foreign academics, which pretty much means that they pay me so that I can learn a lot from them. Amazing!
