Gorkem has years of experience working on different software technologies ranging from enterprise applications to building actual mobile phones. He has worked in the past with various technologies including but not limited to Java, C++, Qt, JavaScript and continues to do so.

Currently working for JBoss by Red Hat.

Gorkem is also contributing to several open source projects on different levels. He is currently a committer for Eclipse Mobile Tools for Java (MTJ), Eclipse Web Tools Platform (WTP) project.

Also a public speaker at conferences like JavaOne, EclipseCon, EclipseSummit..
