I live in a tiny mountain town with few gamers. Got a great collection of DnD 3.0 and 3.5 books, have no desire to even try or reinvest in the 4.0 series. I now hear WotC is once again revamping the game, taking it back to basics.
First edition was fun; well, the First Edition I played, called AD&D. Considerably simpler than the current, yet the fun part of this system I now enjoy is how individualized the character classes can be.
