Age: 26

I am an Electrical and Electronics Engineering graduate with deep love for computer programming.

I am also self taught programmer, attended no school for programming.

My first obsession was Physics.

My obsession with programming started in 2004 March, when I was gifted my first computer. I programmed in C in the beginning. As a late beginner of programming, I worked hard for a year(intermittently) to try and get to know it well. I also picked up a book on C++ to understand the object oriented programming concepts. Unfortunately, my first C++ book was Bjarne Stroustrup's "The C++ Programming Language" which blew my mind away at first. So I decided to get another book to learn C++, the C++ Primer(Stanley Lafore). After that, I picked up TC++PL again and digested it. It really opened my mind up about object oriented programming concepts.

Then a time came, when I thought Java is cool, and because of this cult war between C++ and Java, I was kinda guilty when I first picked it up. It was like I was betraying my mentor Bjarne Stroustrup.

Between C++ and Java, I learnt compiler construction by my own, and that enlightened me about computer programming in general. That was, probably, the turning point in my life. After that, I've programmed in many languages.

Languages I've used for significant personal and professional projects are C, C++, Java, C#, ASP.NET, HTML5, CSS, Javascript, Python(final year project), SQL just to name a few.
