I have been designing websites and programming applications since the mid 90's. The first program I developed was a tick-tack-toe game for the TI-82 calculator in middle school. In high school I turned to photography which lead me to digital art and in 2005 I graduated from the Art Institute of Portland with a BS in Graphic Design.
In 2006 after working as a freelance designer and production artist in Portland, OR, I moved back to my hometown of Bozeman, MT to join a small design studio, as a graphic designer. In 2008 I created an interactive department within the company, straddling the roles of interactive designer, web developer, IA, SEO, e-marketer, and occasional sysadmin. I left that position in June 2010 to take on a position as Interactive Producer at MercuryCSC, a Bozeman-based strategic marketing agency focused on authentic story telling.
In my spare time I lurk on the Coda Users mailing list answering questions about syntax modes and version control (mostly SVN and Git). I also spend time cycling, skiing, and running around Bozeman with my black labrador, Eddie.
