PROFESSIONAL: Applied statistician and ecologist, working on problems in forestry, invasive species, and environmental impact analysis. In addition, I write non-commercial software in C++, MATLAB, and R for scientific applications. I also teach a graduate course in Biological Statistics.
PERSONAL: I took refuge vows in Tibetan Buddhism in 2002, and practice daily meditation. For physical fitness, I do road cycling (since the late 1970s!).
