.NET developer/consultant with interest in delivering rich User Experiences from distributed data sets. This ends up meaning I work extensively with WPF/SL, Rx (C# LINQ), Messaging systems and occasionally I need to get my hands dirty in relational databases.
I really enjoy learning something new, but due to my poor memory I need to write alot of it down. The result of this is I write a lot of how-to docs for colleagues. Where I can I make these public via my blog, and in one extreme case it ended up as the 5 star rated book on Amazon:
Author of "Introduction to Rx" (available on Amazon or free at IntroToRx.com).
Some relevant experience with Web tech (ASP.NET, MVC4, SignalR, OAuth and 'HTML5') and in a former life lived and breathed SQL Server so I still have a pretty good grasp on relation database technology.
