Software Engineer by day, and sometimes by night. I've been programming since the days of the Commodore Vic20 (though I'm not sure if making your name appear continuously down the screen could be called programming). I've been working professionally in the field for nearly 17 years. The languages I use most are C (for embedded work) and C++, and work predominantly with PostgreSQL, SQL Server and Oracle. I have work in use all over the world, including vehicle tracking systems and food safety monitoring and alerting systems in major superstores. Client/Server and Database systems have always been my primary interest.
