comment Not able to build WSO2 orbit, kernel 4.2.0 and platform 4.1.7
Not sure what exactly the issue is.. Somehow, the integration tests pom has a parent pom reference 4.1.0 but it should be 4.2.0. But I guess you can comment out the integration module if you are not planning to run product integration tests.

Yes.. There were known issues when building with Maven 3.2.x due to incompatibilities between Maven versions.

comment Server roles on Carbon must be added through Management Console?
It is possible to to add ServerRoles via carbon.xml. It might be the case that there is a bug where if you add server roles via mgt console, then those takes precedence, even if you remove them. You could try removing any registry config related to server roles.

Seems so. Please raise a bug in wso2.org/jira/browse/APIMANAGER

comment No anonymous view of API Manager store
There is no switch as of now, to disable the anonymous view of the API store. So, it's unlikely this is a configuration change. This can be achieved only by customizing the store app. May be you have confused store with the API Publisher?

comment How to write custom handler (axis2 handler) to read custom headers message and validate user/password against the user store in WSO2 ESB
Yes.. so, you can add WS-Sec to an ESB endpoint, so the request from esb to back-end will be populated with security headers. Need to think how to inject your params to that request

comment How to write custom handler (axis2 handler) to read custom headers message and validate user/password against the user store in WSO2 ESB
If you simply need to authenticate a user against a user store, you could directly use the AuthenticationAdmin service. It expects the username/password as part of the soap body. So, use PayloadFactory mediator to generate the message body, set the user/password you extract from the request as args to PF mediator, and call the AuthnetiationAdmin.

comment How can I change the base url shown in the store?
From where did you set the domain name myapistore.com? Did you set the HostName attribute in carbon.xml as myapistore.com/store. If so, that would be wrong. This looks like a config issue.

comment How to configure the sct-issuer-config parameter in a secure conversation scenario
To verify whether the sct-issuer-config param is added, open up carbon_home/repository/deployment/server/servicemetafiles/<service-group-name>.xml, and make sure that this param is there.
