I'm a web and mobile application developer. I love using jQuery to make 100+ DOM manipulations per page load, and I also love the easy at which I can use
mysql_* methods and basic string manipulation to make really cool PHP apps!
But no, seriously: STOP WITH THE
mysql_* FUNCTIONS ALREADY! For the love of all thats good, these were deprecated in July 2011 and are over 8 years old!
Oh, and also - PUT THE DARN JQUERY BOOK DOWN! If you like to make a gazillion jQuery DOM manipulations just to make your page look cool... I will find you, and I will do mean things to you with an old iPhone.
