I ended up doing this browser.evaluate_script("findTexts(%s);function findTexts(list){//do something with list array}"); turns out evaluate_script returns the results.

this did not make any improvements. The trouble is that when it encounters a missing element, it waits for a few seconds. I think the only way to pull this off is by using javascript

@Burhan Khalid yes I am using app.run(), I am using the code from here flask.pocoo.org/docs/quickstart, can you explain the performance issue related with that? What should I be doing instead?
