@mote: I guess you can run many commands via startup applications. E.g. I use a startup application to delete all thumbnails (command: rm -r /home/<username>/.cache/thumbnails). Just try. A more professional way is to define cronejobs, but I'm just an ordinary user.

Unfortunaltely, now the capslock works as another CTRL-key. The capslock-key is not fully disabled.

Because it's proprietary software (not OSS) it' surely not in the software center. Maybe you've installed it manually, then it will also be shown in the software-center.
