comment Javascript works fine in IE8 and not in IE9
there are several reasons why things can fail in IE8 and IE9. Can you add a code example on jsfiddle or similar?

comment export multiple html tables to excel with javascript function
reason could be that you trigger window.location.href changes in a loop... (not sure though) how about preparing the urls and add one anchor per table export it so you only do the location.href change once? it would be good if you could also add the original stackoverflow resource you incorporated

comment How to check 2 checkboxes together?
@user2825509 I would use event delegation for that... by watching for bubbling change events and determine the source (by adding a className or a data- attribute) - change event - Note that this also might be a bit difficult if you have to support old browsers (where the event does not bubble)

@Pavlo: true. I did not proposed the most performant solution. I just wanted to show how to solve it. Of course you could save the DOM lookups. =)

I always went for: observe both and unset mouse event listener when touchstart is firing for the first time... this saves unneeded event listeners and gives you the control

comment AJAX Get status was Ok but jsonp callback returns undefined data
possible duplicate... check stackoverflow.com/questions/9238504/… ... either use a globally available function named mycallback or change the syntax of .ajax() to use jsonp: "callback" (since this parameter seems to be expected by the server accordsing to your example)

comment Safari OnUnload event on user exit
Some actions are not allowed during unload phase in some browsers HTML5 Spec. ("The showModalDialog(), alert(), confirm() and prompt() methods are now allowed to do nothing during pagehide, beforeunload and unload events."), sometimes the event is omitted because in modern WebKit the PageCache might be used. Can you set up a test page?

comment Can jQuery.filter work on the body tag?
looks even nicer :)... i am not sure which performs faster... but anyway using native methods on strings is way better than trying to achieve this via any library :)
