Some old experience developing in C. Now on the Learning Curve of C#. Eager to learn. Willing to do the work I have to do to learn. Yet some of my questions will be basic and result in a few doh's.
I work as a Roadway Design Engineer in Raleigh, NC, USA. Although I am an engineer, I love to leverage my programming skills into increasing my productivity and that of others. (Okay, be nice on jokes about "what programming skills.")
My primary interest is in learning C#. I have a few desktop apps I have in mind that I would like to develop one day -- one day when I have the time. Thus I am interested in Linq, WPF, and writing apps which are like CAD apps, or ones that interact with Microstation (a major CAD app).
