comment Where do the (many) voters in the 2014 community moderator election come from?
What exactly would the purpose of that be? Certain statistics about the voters would be interesting of course, but I don't see what the "home site" of voters would tell us? I also find the whole concept of "home site" to be rather dubious, there are many different activity patterns for SE users, not all of them have something you could call a home site.

comment Understanding the community stand point on posts about self harming
@Thomas It gets rather complicated quickly because SE sites are international. I don't even know in which country a specific user is, SE can usually find this out and contact law enforcement in the correct country. Though I'd personally avoid using the slower "contact us" method and ping an SE employee directly. Any law enforcement must likely contact SE anyway to find out the identity of the person.

comment Automatized features don't work when asking a question
This kind of error typically means that the SE javascript is not working for some reason. You could try clearing your browser cache, disable any extensions that might block javascript (NoScript and similar ones) and check the developer console for any javascript errors. My personal guess would be a corrupted cache, so I'd try clearing the cache first.

@Thomas The implication of point 3 is that SE will contact law enforcement. They are also in a much better position to do that as they can provide more information to actually identify the person.
