comment Youtbe serves js wich causes warnings in console: Use the "aria-label" attribute instead
Just tested on a clean html page (there's nothing on that page but the necessary body , html, head - tags ... and a simple clean "<iframe>" embed code, straight out of Youtube, and I get all these warnings. I guess a Google dev is just playing around with some stuff, will possibly fix itself.

comment Mapbox does not adjust to display sizes
looking for the exact same thing. Came up with a hack more than a permanent responsive solution. I'm recentering/zooming my map in the responsive states with the zoom/lat/long param

I'm just wondering how secure this approach is ? Can this config.js not be read in a fairly easy way ?

Thanks for your kind intervention. Really wanted the Backbone way to work , but I can't make it happen, so I appreciate the alternative.

really appreciate the time you put into this issue. Your code snippet + clear explanation as to why your proposed solution works, provided me with a working app + I learned a bit in the process. Thanks again.

if I put <code>socket.on('marker dropped', function(msg){socket.emit('marker dropped',msg)});</code> inside my server.js it works and fires (on click) perfectly. So, all events towards socket.io have to live on the server(.js) and be fired from there ?

thanks for your time JasonM Answer: No, the event emitted in dropMarker is not showing up in my debug as a websocket (or xhr polling for that matter) 'write' action.
