I actually am having some kind of fun. Not sure you would understand why, though :-P Take care.

sure you did. And yet you don't know the difference between a socket object and a port. Or between the local address and the remote one. Go figure.

The PORT will not change when accepting the connection, but yes, you'll get a new SOCKET. You may want to find out what a PORT is and what a SOCKET is.

There is no port change when you accept a connection on the server, otherwise how would a server be able to accept multiple connections. Also, socket.accept() returns a tuple (socket, remote_address), not (socket, port).

comment Only python 2.7 and later is supported by ptyprocess issue
@fear_matrix that depends on your OS. Try to google <your_os_name> update python 2.7 and see what you get. You'll likely need to have admin privileges, or you can download the python sources, build it and install it somewhere local to your user, then use the previous link to start a virtualenv pointing to the new python installation. Good luck :)

And see here for how to set up a different python version in you virtualenv. Or just update python globally, if you can ;-)

Also, @germn answer mentions context managers, which is a good thing.

He's calling iter on a file. And the output makes sense, it's just not complete.

comment Calculate Italian fiscal code (tax code) in C#
Sure. On wikipedia you can find the translation of the algo as defined in the law's text: - Please be aware that if I'm not mistaken there may be cases of conflicts in which the code is manually overridden (for instance picking a different letter for the name)
