Troy, NY

I started my career in Casino Gaming at Multimedia Games (MGAM) where I took over as General Manager for NYS in 2004. As GM I managed the Network Operations Center, Casino Support, and Development teams. When I left I was managing approximately 8BB in yearly sales across approximately 20K slot machines and other gaming devices. The operating framework I built in NY was rolled out to the rest of the country over the next few years.

I left Multimedia Games in 2008 to take CTO role at Agora Games. At the time Agora was at the beginning of its growth spurt, and I was hired to build and lead the engineering team as we created a social platform for console games. Unlike the bulk of our competition at the time who were making very generic systems, we built a tool that allowed a great deal of customization on the server end. The result is that we can push the envelope of what actual social features console games can build in.

In 2010 we sold Agora to Major League Gaming (MLG). At that time I assumed the role of CTO there as well. My two main projects there were to rebuild & relaunch of all of MLG's online properties (the technical platform was subpar, the experience was about the same) and to design a video delivery platform that delivers live 1080P video to hundreds of thousands of simultaneous viewers across the globe.
