The Conversation Company is a Thought-Garage that experiments with a semantic approach to storing, interpreting and using data. The basic semantic premise of our company is "I am my Word."
Currently, we are working on two different but related projects. Both of them involve Natural Language Programming (NLP) and Functional Programming. We rely predominantly on semantic database like WordNet, FrameNet etc to interpret the meaning and relation of words. For querying and manipulating the DB, we use SWI-Prolog and are interested in exploring other NoSQL solutions. By using RDF/OWL schema, we try to stay as close as possible to the W3 Recommendations for the Semantic Web.
