I currently do web coding - simple stuff with PHP with some JQuery - for work. In the past I've worked with C++ on embedded systems (development and testing), and some Visual Basic.
I enjoy recreational programming in Lisp and Smalltalk - no bit-twiddling programming to the metal for me. For practical programming tasks, I use Perl and bash, and occasionally play around with Python and Java, and various C++ GUI toolkits. Even a bit of BeOS on Haiku.
I'd like to learn Erlang, Haskell, and Prolog.
